Billing Specialist

Job Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Billing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in billing or accounting, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and submit accurate and timely billing statements to clients

• Analyze billing discrepancies and resolve any issues or discrepancies

• Process journal entries related to billing and accounts receivable

• Provide excellent customer service, including phone etiquette, when interacting with clients

• Negotiate payment arrangements with clients when necessary

• Office overflow as needed

Experience and Skills:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in billing or accounting role

• Strong knowledge of account reconciliation and journal entry processes

• Proficient in using accounting software – QuickBooks and Clio a plus

• Overall team player – willing to learn from others!
