Description

Remote VA is looking for a Collections Specialist focused on Property Management to enhance our collections process, ensuring timely retrieval of payments while maintaining excellent client relationships. In this role, you will manage collections for property management accounts, work closely with property owners, and coordinate with our finance team to optimize cash flow.

Key Responsibilities:

•       Oversee the collection of rents and other related fees from property tenants.

•       Initiate follow-up calls and emails to tenants regarding overdue payments.

•       Maintain detailed records of all interactions with tenants and property owners.

•       Develop and implement effective collection strategies tailored to different tenant profiles.

•       Collaborate with legal counsel regarding delinquent accounts and prepare necessary documentation.

•       Provide exceptional customer service while negotiating payment arrangements.

•       Generate reports on collection activities and account statuses for the management team.

•       Educate tenants on payment processes and encourage timely payments.

•       Work closely with property management to align on tenant disputes and collection strategies.

Requirements

Experience in Collections and Property Management

Strong communication and negotiation skills

Proficiency in property management software and accounting tools
