Virtual Wizards is a staffing agency that partners with fast-growing U.S. companies to provide high-performing remote talent from Latin America. One of our clients, a leading property management technology company, is hiring a Leasing Assistant to support their team.

As a Leasing Assistant, you’ll be working every day with tenants to help them find their ideal home, managing everything from the initial inquiry to reviewing completed applications. You’ll keep listings active and moving, answer tenant questions, and ensure that administrative tasks are completed.

This isn’t your typical coordination role, it’s fast-paced, high-impact, and perfect for someone who’s equal parts strategic project manager, clear communicator, and results-driven operator. You’ll juggle multiple listings, conversations, and tools without missing a beat.

Responsibilities

As a Leasing Assistant for our client, you will be the first point of contact for prospective tenants and play a key role in shaping the leasing experience. Your role will include:

Customer Service-Focused

  • Answering questions confidently about properties, availability, and showings.
  • Creating a smooth experience by following up before and after showings.
  • Troubleshooting on-site issues (e.g., lockbox access) to ensure showings go smoothly.

Proactive and Reliable

  • Managing a high volume of listings and showings at once without missing details.
  • Setting up showing schedules quickly and confirming all parties are ready.
  • Reviewing applications and escalating them for further review as needed.

Detail-Oriented and Organized

  • Keeping listings and leads up to date in the system.
  • Turning listings on and off the market at the right time.
  • Ensuring lockboxes are installed and instructions are accurate before showings go live.

Clear Communicator

  • Providing clarity and consistency at every step of the leasing process.
  • Escalating tenant issues with the right context.
  • Maintaining internal documentation for smooth team collaboration.

Team Player

  • Working closely with the client’s internal leasing and repair coordination teams.
  • Ensuring access issues, maintenance problems, or listing concerns are addressed promptly.
  • Sharing tenant feedback to improve leasing outcomes.

Requirements

Preferred: Bachelor’s degree.

Location

This is a remote position, with Managua, Nicaragua preferred.
