Leasing Specialist

Location: Remote – Latin America

Time Zone: Must overlap with U.S. business hours

Role Overview

We are hiring a Leasing Specialist who will manage the full front-end leasing cycle, including handling inquiries, setting showings, communicating with prospects, managing listings, and supporting lead generation.

The ideal candidate has strong leasing experience and understands how to speak with prospective tenants, sell a home, explain rental criteria, and move applicants through the process.

Experience with Rent Manager is a major plus, but leasing expertise is the priority.

Key Responsibilities

Lead & Prospect Management

• Respond to inbound leads from Zillow, Apartments.com, Facebook, Craigslist, and internal lead sources
• Qualify prospects according to rental criteria and availability
• Track all communication and follow-ups in the CRM or platform provided
• Provide detailed information about homes, showing instructions, and application requirements

Showings Coordination

• Schedule in-person or self-guided showings for prospective tenants
• Provide lockbox instructions and troubleshoot access issues
• Send reminders, confirmations, and post-showing follow-up messages
• Update availability calendars and showing schedules in real time

Listing & Marketing Support

• Create and manage property listings across:
  • Facebook Marketplace
  • Zillow
  • Craigslist
  • Syndicated platforms (Tenant Turner, ShowMojo, etc.)
• Optimize listings based on performance, lead quality, and feedback
• Update photos, pricing, description, availability, and fee structures
• Follow internal SOPs for ad creation to avoid account bans

Application Processing

• Assist prospects with application steps and documentation
• Review applications for completeness and escalate qualified applicants
• Maintain communication with prospects during screening, approval, or denial phases

Communication & Customer Service

• Answer questions promptly and professionally
• Explain complex leasing information in a clear, simple way
• Address common tenant FAQs (fees, timelines, showing updates, move-in expectations)

Required Skills & Experience

• 2+ years of experience in leasing, real estate coordination, or PM operations
• Experience managing large listing volumes (20–40+ active units)
• Comfortable generating leads through Facebook, Craigslist, and other platforms
• High-level English (C1), minimal accent, strong communication skills
• Strong multitasking skills and ability to work in fast-paced leasing environments
• Familiarity with U.S. leasing standards and rental terminology

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Rent Manager
• Experience with Tenant Turner, ShowMojo, or similar showing software
• Familiarity with Florida, Arizona, or similar Sunbelt rental markets
