Overview

Virtual Wizards is seeking a Rental Assistant Coordinator to join one of our U.S.-based clients in the property management technology sector. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working directly with customers, solving real-world problems, and thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

You’ll be the first point of contact for landlords and tenants within the client’s rental platform, providing timely, empathetic, and accurate assistance. You’ll also ensure smooth handling of pre-eviction processes, protecting the interests of both landlords and tenants while maintaining a high level of professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and respond to rental-related messages from landlords and tenants promptly and professionally.
  • Identify the best resolution path for each case and take ownership from start to finish.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Support, Product, Engineering) to troubleshoot system-related issues and improve workflows.
  • Navigate the property management platform with confidence to guide users through processes.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on rental assistant processes and policies.
  • Ensure compliance with legal regulations across multiple states.

Requirements

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and address underlying issues for both landlords and tenants.
  • Excellent organizational skills; able to manage multiple cases while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with software tools used for property management, legal documentation, and customer support. Experience with e-signature platforms is a plus.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with a customer-first mindset.
  • Analytical and resourceful when troubleshooting issues and proposing solutions.
  • High ethical standards and commitment to regulatory compliance.
