About the Company
A fast-growing 5G cellular-based point-of-sale (POS) technology company serving small businesses in the food and beverage industry - including food trucks, coffee shops, and quick- service restaurants. The company offers a modern, mobile-first POS solution that competes on pricing, connectivity, and customer support. The team is lean, entrepreneurial, and moving quickly to build out its sales infrastructure.
The Opportunity
The company's founder is currently the primary salesperson and is responsible for working inbound leads generated through social media advertising campaigns on Meta, Instagram, and Facebook. As pipeline volume grows, they need a motivated SDR to step in, work the inbound lead queue, and free up the founder's time for demos, closes, and product development.
This is a part-time role with a clear path to full-time and, eventually, a commissioned sales rep position. The right candidate will grow alongside the company.
What You'll Do
• Work inbound leads sourced through GoHighLevel from Meta, Instagram, and Facebook campaigns (warm leads - no cold calling or scraping)
• Make outbound follow-up calls to leads who submitted interest but did not schedule their own demo or callback
• Qualify prospects, gauge level of interest, and set appointments for the founder to conduct product demos
• Answer basic product questions with confidence - pricing, key differentiators, and why prospects should consider switching from Square, Toast, or Clover
• Escalate conversations that require deeper product or technical knowledge to the founder promptly and efficiently
• Maintain clean records in GoHighLevel - tag leads, log call notes, write summaries, and keep the pipeline organized
• Sit in on live calls with the founder during your onboarding period to absorb product knowledge and sales methodology before making calls independently
• Review recorded calls in GoHighLevel and prepare summaries and questions as part of ongoing self-development
What We're Looking For
We are not looking for a seasoned closer. We are looking for someone who:
• Genuinely enjoys sales and wants to grow in a sales career
• Is comfortable making phone calls to warm leads and handling objections without getting discouraged
• Understands the importance of first impressions - the leads we speak with are often the decision-makers (food truck owners, restaurant operators) who want answers, not just an appointment
• Is patient, coachable, and willing to spend the first several weeks in a learning and
listening role before calling independently
• Has some exposure to sales calls, outbound or appointment-setting, but does NOT need 5+ years of experience - enthusiasm and attitude matter more than a long resume
• Is organized and comfortable working in a CRM (GoHighLevel experience is a plus, but not required)
• Has strong spoken English - at minimum C1 level - and can converse naturally and confidently with business owners in the United States
• Is bilingual (English/Spanish) - a plus, as some inbound leads do prefer to communicate in Spanish
What This Role Is Not
• This is not a closing role, the founder handles demos and closes
• This is not a cold-calling role - all leads are inbound and have already engaged with an ad
• This is not a fit for someone who wants to jump straight to demos and commissions from day one
• This is not the right opportunity for someone primarily motivated by immediate earning potential over growth and learning
Onboarding Approach
The company has a thoughtful, hands-on onboarding process designed to set you up for success - not throw you in unprepared. Here's what the first month looks like:
• Week 1–2: Deep dive into GoHighLevel - clean up the lead database, tag and organize existing records, listen to recorded calls, and start building familiarity with the product and industry
• Week 2–4: Join live calls with the founder as a silent observer and take notes; ask questions after each call
• Month 2+: Begin making independent follow-up calls to leads, with the founder available for warm handoffs on complex questions
Compensation & Growth
• Starting rate: $10–$12/hour based on experience
• Commission structure available once the candidate is ready to begin closing sales
