Project Description
The U.S. government is investing heavily in expanding broadband access, pouring billions of dollars into fiber infrastructure and accelerating competition across the ISP (Internet Service Provider) space. As new players enter the market, third-party utility providers—teams selling internet, satellite, home security, solar, and more—are growing rapidly. These companies operate in the field, often door-to-door, and need dedicated tools to manage their leads, operations, and customers.
Yet no CRM system exists today that’s purpose-built for this segment—until now.
Our client's platform is the only CRM tailored specifically for the unique workflows and daily realities of third-party utility providers. Built from scratch by a solo technical founder, it has already gained strong traction and is receiving constant requests for additional features, integrations, and enhancements. The product sits in a fast-growing, underserved niche with real market pull—and now the founder is looking for a senior partner to help scale it further.
Role Description
This Staff-Level LAMP Developer will partner directly with the CEO/Founder and help expand the platform’s capabilities. This role requires someone who is not only technically sharp, but also a self-starter who thrives in a scrappy, early-stage startup environment. There’s little red tape, limited developer support, and a constant flow of projects—everything from building APIs and plugins to fixing bugs and shipping new features fast.
You’ll be a true builder, working with technologies like the LAMP stack, jQuery, AWS, and CMS platforms (with a strong preference for Joomla). You’ll have autonomy to own projects, help prioritize the roadmap, and provide input on architecture and trade-offs. This role is ideal for someone who wants to drive outcomes, not just execute tasks—and who knows when to challenge ideas and when to move fast.
