Position: Business Development Representative/Account Manager

Type of contract: Independent contractor

Position Overview

In this hybrid role, you’ll be responsible for both acquiring new clients (Business Development) and nurturing and growing existing relationships (Account Management). You will play a key role in helping law firms discover the power of the company's services, acting as a trusted advisor and solutions expert.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through outbound outreach, networking, and lead follow-ups.
  • Conduct discovery calls and product/service presentations with prospective clients.
  • Work with marketing to convert inbound leads into active sales opportunities.
  • Collaborate with leadership on sales strategies, target markets, and growth goals.

Account Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of law firm clients.
  • Understand each client's unique needs and provide tailored solutions to drive retention and satisfaction.
  • Upsell and cross-sell additional services and offerings.
  • Monitor client performance metrics and ensure the delivery of exceptional service.
  • Manage client communications, check-ins, and problem-solving.


Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management (B2B preferred).
  • Experience working with or selling to law firms or professional services clients is a major plus.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed KPIs and sales targets.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Comfortable presenting via Zoom and working in a fully remote environment.
  • Tech-savvy and proficient with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar).
  • Highly organized and self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership.

Preferred Skills:

  • Understanding of legal services, virtual staffing, or SaaS is a bonus.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.
  • Experience working in a startup or fast-paced environment.
