Are you driven by the thrill of closing deals, adept at building strong client relationships, and dedicated to driving revenue growth? MDC is seeking an ambitious Account Executive to join our team and play a pivotal role in expanding our client base and driving success in data center colocation!

Your Mission:

The mission of an Account Executive is to identify new business opportunities by prospecting for new clients, maintaining relationships with current clients, assisting them in reaching their goals, and closing deals for the company.

What You'll Be Doing:


  • Identify and research potential business opportunities, understanding companies' needs and decision-makers.
  • Conduct outreach and prospecting through cold calling, networking, industry events, and online channels.
  • Engage with leads from marketing, conduct discovery sessions, and build strong relationships with existing clients.
  • Provide tailored solutions to meet clients' goals and support deal closures with accurate business cases.
  • Maintain up-to-date CRM records, including lead statuses, communication history, and progress tracking.
  • Collaborate with sales engineers and product teams to develop and present proposals, negotiate terms, and document agreements.
  • Facilitate the signing of NDAs, contracts, and other necessary documents, ensuring clients complete required forms for project initiation.
  • Communicate client needs to the operations team, introduce clients to relevant departments, and seek feedback for process improvements.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
  • 2 years of experience as an Account Executive or in a similar role, with a proven track record in market research, prospecting, and client discovery sessions, particularly within the data center or telecommunications industries.
  • Proficient with CRM systems, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite, or related software.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including sales engineers and product teams.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage clients and stakeholders in the data center and telecommunications sectors.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Knowledge of data center and telecommunications infrastructure and trends, with a focus on delivering exceptional client success in these industries.
  • Adaptable, with a willingness to learn and work both independently as part of a team to achieve client satisfaction.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Telecommunication Engineering, or a related field is desirable.
