Industry: Restaurant brokerage (buying and selling of restaurant businesses)
Location: Remote (LATAM-based)
Type: Full-time, Independent Contractor
Compensation: $1,600–$2,000/month
About the Role
Our client is a growing restaurant brokerage firm handling the buying and selling of restaurant businesses across their region. As call volume and lead flow have accelerated, they're looking for a Customer Service & Sales Support Coordinator to manage inbound buyer and seller communication, guide prospective buyers through the intake process, and support the team with administrative and document organization tasks. This is a customer-facing role with a persuasive, sales-oriented edge — you'll be the first point of contact for buyers and sellers and play a key role in moving deals forward.
What You'll Do
- Answer inbound calls from prospective buyers and sellers (approx. 8–9 calls/day across ~27 active listings)
- Guide unregistered buyers to complete the required form and access electronic NDAs
- Follow up with buyers after they've reviewed a listing to answer questions and keep them engaged
- Walk buyers through the process of obtaining and submitting proof of funds
- Hand off qualified, funded buyers to the broker team for deal negotiation
- Field inbound calls from sellers interested in listing their restaurant, gather key details, and ensure a strong first impression
- Coordinate and book listing appointments for the broker team
- Organize and maintain deal documents using Dropbox
- Support with data entry and administrative tasks during downtime, with opportunity to take on more listing-entry responsibilities as trust and familiarity grow
- Operate within the team's CRM (HubSpot-based system)
What We're Looking For
- Strong verbal communication skills, friendly, energetic, and proactive on calls
- Comfortable in a customer-service role with a persuasive, sales-supportive tone (not a hard closer, moving conversations forward, not closing deals)
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and reliable with document management
- Prior real estate, brokerage, or sales-support experience is a plus but not required, training will be provided on the specific systems and processes
- Trustworthy and coachable, with the ability to take on more responsibility over time
What's Not in Scope
- Closing deals or final negotiations (handled directly by the broker team)
- Outbound cold-calling or sales-generation to a large prospect list (a separate hire is anticipated for this in the future)
Why This Role
This is an opportunity to work directly with a fast-growing, hands-on brokerage team during a period of accelerated growth, with real potential to expand your responsibilities as the business scales.
