About the Role:

We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service & Outreach Specialist. In this dynamic role, you will be the primary point of contact for our valued Municipal, University, and Corporate clients across the St. Louis area, providing exceptional service and supporting our sales and customer relationship efforts. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, possesses excellent communication skills, and is eager to contribute to building strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Interaction
    • Answer inbound calls and respond to emails with professionalism and patience, especially when assisting senior customers
    • Manage customer follow-ups and outreach through our CRM system (Odoo)
    • Handle collections for overdue invoices (30+ days)
    • Email marketing and Lead calling
  • Sales & Order Management
    • Ability to prepare quotes, invoices, and purchase orders




  • Process payments and track orders
  • Support sales efforts and lead tracking
  • System & Software Use
    • Use Odoo for CRM, ERP, and email marketing
    • Leverage Microsoft Office for general tasks
    • Utilize Adobe Illustrator for custom design work (a plus, not required)
  • Marketing Support
    • Assist with social media marketing using Sintra.ai
  • Business Continuity
    • Provide reliable backup support when the owner is unavailable
      Help streamline business processes where possible

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Patient, especially when working with older or tech-challenged customers
  • Not emotionally reactive; able to stay calm and helpful during tense interactions
  • A direct communicator and confident problem-solver with a “make it happen” mindset
  • Experienced or willing to quickly learn systems like Odoo (preferred but not required)
  • Comfortable with both sales and customer service
  • Bonus: Familiar with Adobe Illustrator and/or Six Sigma or process improvement practices

Requirements

  • Stable internet connection and a quiet working environment
  • Ability to work U.S. Central Time hours (Mon–Fri, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM CST)
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and eager to contribute to business growth
