ROLE OVERVIEW

This is not a task-list job. It's a right-hand-person role for a founder who runs multiple businesses simultaneously and needs someone who can match his pace, anticipate the next fire, and handle both strategic business tasks and personal logistics without needing to be told what to do next.

You'll split your time roughly 50/50 between business and personal support. On the business side, you'll be the person who catches what falls through the cracks - escalations, sensitive tasks, cross-functional coordination, and the exceptions that don't fit neatly into anyone else's lane. On the personal side, you'll manage the details of daily life: family logistics, shopping, property administration, and anything that competes for mental bandwidth.

This is a full-time, fully remote role based in Latin America, working Pacific Standard Time (PST) hours.

ABOUT THE COMPANY

The company is a U.S.-based tech and web business founded by a former Google engineer who has been building and operating distributed teams since 2012. The organization runs multiple technology and business ventures simultaneously, including software platforms and real estate investments, with a global remote team of approximately 60 people across several countries.

The environment is fast-moving and startup-paced. Teams are built on trust and autonomy - people are expected to own their work, solve problems independently, and adapt quickly. You're joining a high-trust, high-accountability environment where initiative is the currency.

BUSINESS RESPONSIBILITIES

The founder has a fully-staffed operations team that handles routine work. What lands on your plate is everything that doesn't fit anywhere else - the exceptions, the fires, and the sensitive tasks that require discretion.

•       Handle escalations and time-sensitive issues that the operations team flags up the chain
•       Assist with confidential tasks that are awkward to delegate internally - compensation reviews, payroll-adjacent work, vendor negotiations, and similar sensitive matters
•       Support across real estate investments and property administration
•       Track open items, follow up on delegated tasks, and close loops so nothing falls through the cracks
•       Conduct research, draft communications, and coordinate with internal teams and external vendors as needed
•       Help manage a fast-moving task queue - new items come in daily and the priority can shift quickly
•       Serve as a buffer: receive, triage, and route incoming requests so the founder can stay focused on what only he can do

PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

The personal side of this role is real and matters just as much as the business side. You'll be helping a busy founder manage the logistics of a full life - including kids, vehicles, properties, and everything in between.

•       Manage kids' school logistics: lunch account top-ups, permission forms, scheduling, and miscellaneous school-related tasks
•     Research and coordinate major purchases - cars, appliances, home goods - gathering options and handling legwork so the founder just makes the final call
•       Handle Amazon, online shopping, and household supply orders
•       Coordinate holiday and gift shopping
•       Track personal appointments, vehicle maintenance, and property-related tasks across real estate holdings
•       Manage other ad-hoc personal requests that come up week to week - the common thread is they're all things a busy person doesn't have time to handle themselves

WHO YOU ARE

The founder's own words: hungry, smart, and humble. That's the standard. Here's what that looks like in practice:

•       Proactive, not reactive. You don't wait to be told what needs doing. You notice, you act, you close the loop.
•       A fast learner. You won't be handed a training manual for most of what comes your way. You'll figure it out, ask the right questions, and get it done.
•       Entrepreneurial. You think like a problem-owner, not an employee. If something falls through a gap, you catch it - you don't point out that it wasn't in your job description.
•       Calm under pressure. This role involves fires. You stay grounded, prioritize clearly, and keep moving.
•       Discreet. You'll handle sensitive personal and business information. You don't share what you don't need to share.
•       Excellent in English. You'll be communicating with U.S.-based stakeholders daily, in writing and sometimes verbally. Your English needs to be natural, clear, and professional.
•       Tech-comfortable. You use AI tools as a daily habit, not occasionally. You're comfortable with collaboration software, project management tools, and figuring out new platforms quickly.

REQUIREMENTS

•       Based in Latin America (El Salvador, Nicaragua, or Argentina strongly preferred)
•       Available full-time on Pacific Standard Time (PST) hours - consistent responsiveness during U.S. West Coast business hours is required
•       Professional-level English proficiency - written and spoken
•       Prior experience supporting a C-level executive, founder, or senior leader is a strong plus (not required - aptitude and attitude matter more than years)
•       Demonstrated comfort with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar) as part of daily work
•       Proficiency with standard productivity and communication tools (Google Workspace, Slack, project management tools, etc.)
•       Strong organizational skills and attention to detail across multiple parallel workstreams
•       Experience handling personal assistant duties alongside business support is a bonus

COMPENSATION & LOGISTICS

•       Rate: 10–12 USD per hour, commensurate with experience
•       Hours: Full-time ( 40 hours/week)
•       Schedule: Pacific Standard Time (PST) - aligned to U.S. West Coast business hours
•       Work arrangement: Fully remote, independent contractor
•       Payment: Wise (USD direct deposit)
