Real Estate Underwriting Analyst
Location: Remote (LATAM)
Compensation: $2,500–$3,200 USD/month
Type: Full-time, Direct Placement
About the Role
We're hiring a Real Estate Underwriting Analyst on behalf of a U.S.-based real estate investment company. This role sits at the center of the acquisition process — digging into the numbers behind every deal, catching what doesn't add up, and helping the team make confident, well-informed investment decisions.
If you love spreadsheets, have a sharp eye for inconsistencies, and enjoy the detective work of figuring out whether a deal's financials actually hold up, this is a great fit.
What You'll Do
- Review rent rolls, T12s, T3s, and seller-provided financials
- Compare financial documents to spot inconsistencies and red flags
- Analyze underwriting models and validate the assumptions behind them
- Prepare sharp, targeted follow-up questions for brokers and sellers
- Summarize your findings in clear, well-organized investment memos
- Identify risks, missing information, and unusual trends in the data
- Support the broader team through acquisition due diligence
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of commercial real estate underwriting experience (required)
- Advanced Excel skills — comfortable building and auditing complex models
- Strong financial analysis and critical thinking skills
- Excellent written English
- High attention to detail
- Comfortable working independently with minimal oversight
Nice to Have
- Experience underwriting manufactured housing communities
- Background in multifamily, self-storage, or other commercial real estate asset classes
- Hands-on experience reviewing T12s, rent rolls, and operating statements
